Star Wars is a flat, boring, trite, and stupid saga that constantly repeats itself because it is incapable of going anywhere else. The first episode was acceptable, but the rest is just an increasingly neurotic auto-masturbation unable to excite itself. The new films are truly B movies on steroids, poorly written and badly acted. And paradoxically, they are sci-fi movies without real science fiction. This one is definitely the least bad of the prequels, but it’s really too slow and filled with uselessness. I definitely prefer Star Trek: even when it sucks, it’s way better.

This movie sucks because it just sucks. I’ll only save a couple of actors and the detective with the mask, but the story is awful, ridiculous, incredibly boring, stretched out, with an ending that's so pointless it’s funny before it’s infuriating. And it's certainly not all Snyder's fault. He definitely has the most disgusting and irritating opening credits I can remember.

I think you've seen a bit too much in this first episode. A cornucopia of the already seen that pushes the accelerator, almost always gratuitously and predictably. It means very little in terms of what it says (basically nothing), but it has an amazing visual impact: the lights are stunning... If these are the visual premises, there’s certainly not going to be much boredom.

You wrote in such a rambling and emphatic way that it clearly shows you have nothing to say; the confirmation is in the classic bullshit tagline: "Dumbo is cinema".. Really?? We thought it was an exhibition of diesel teapots.. Even better "Burton, more than a director, is a way of being." What exactly does that mean? Being directors? Being rich? Being people who still make others drool just because between the end of the '80s and the mid-'90s they hit a few above-average films? Being assholes? I'd expect that kind of crap (not justified..) for, I don't know, "Nocturnal Animals"; but for Tim Burton's "Dumbo," a lot less nonsense could've been managed, come on...

It's absurd to even expect "something" from this children's circus, mediocre creations with a high budget but disappointing commercial results. The original cartoon, aside from the pink elephants scene, was pretty terrible; just imagine this useless, unexpected, and rightly snubbed remake. The perverse necromantic trend of Disney, which desperately tries to resurrect long-dead and buried works to make up for the embarrassing lack of ideas, will only produce monsters born of little imagination and lackluster effort from some bored director.

Boring.. The original, the master, the gourmet of cinematic and sonic horror cannot be beaten...
U2 The Best of 1990-2000

I will always criticize U2 for not having insisted on the path of "The Unforgettable Fire" earlier (for me, their best album of the '80s...) and on that of "Zooropa\Original Soundtrack Vol. 1" later. After '97, they really crashed, weighed down by dollars & fourth-hand rhetoric. For me, having listened to them since their beginnings and worn out their records, their best work is "Zooropa," because it's bold, edgy, and at times incredibly modern. Few bands can say they've recorded songs like "With Or Without You" and "Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car" in less than ten years, and whatever that means, it's no small feat. This Best Of is better than the one from '98, but it contains some truly weak tracks, like the two unreleased songs "Electrical Storm" & "The Hands That Built America," and foolish choices, like the horrible "Miss Sarajevo" and fillers like "Stuck In A Moment...". In fact, it's a very precise snapshot of them: a lack of courage, partly due to age and partly due to the pharaonic earnings that, sooner or later, push the desire to "reinvent" into the attic...

The crap has more reasons to exist than me, than you, than the journalists and their singles from pre/intra menstrual.. The only "positive" thing about it is that the singer resembles Earl Hickey..

This "review" seems like the banal conclusion of a bored reasoning accompanied by nothing less than verbose clarifications.. It's not for everyone, I admit..
