Movies that I ignore and will continue to ignore (I can’t take any more of haphazard endings, and then Marxists & priests all at once is just too much for me... and there might even be fascists too!) but THANK YOU because you made me think of the sunny and relaxing “series” of Bacon.. Now I’m off to revisit my panels, because with tea Heads, Crucifixions, and screaming Popes there’s enough to give anyone more than one nightmare...

Very difficult review to read, so unread it seems almost like a joke; is it, by any chance, a joke?
Truly useless and banal opening; Hitler was one of the most influential and capable statesmen of his time, just as Mussolini was and, to name one, Churchill... Influential & capable (better explain this to the imbeciles...) does not mean "good nice beautiful who was right"... But calling him, as well as Putin, insane is an argument that only indicates one thing: the lack of arguments... Then the fact that there was madness (delirious irrationality) in the whole Nazi hegemony project is another matter...

A rather mediocre film, especially now that I watch it again.. As a kid, it really got on my nerves, but I still remember the last part well, with special effects that were on point for that era.. If I'm not mistaken, the stolen Mig-31 was even made to land on the polar ice to refuel from a nuclear submarine that had emerged from the ice! A tasty, albeit inflated, compendium of the impressive logistical deployment that both fueled and was fueled by the Cold War.. A film of its time, with Clint Eastwood perfectly embodying, as always, the role of the "American hero," without, as always, overdoing the rhetoric.. One extra point because, all things considered, I think this film has some historical merit after all..
