Shortly after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, this song came back to my mind thanks to Gerardina Trovato's superb video (1994), alternated and overlapped with images of the war in the former Yugoslavia, by Oliviero Toscani (for those who don't know, a famous photographer, especially for the 'scandalous' advertising posters of the 'United Colors of Benetton' brand): maybe that's why after so many years 'Non è un film' came back to my mind?
Perhaps: (and) maybe because of an important war 'at our home' (in 2014 I felt something but didn't pay much attention) this song's video came back to my mind, having in common with the former Yugoslavia, Ukraine, not only having had Communism but being in a particular area for geopolitical balances in history (like the former Yugoslavia after all).
I'm not doing it on purpose: that's how it happened. But for this, I reassess the piece: thanks to that video.
