I liked it.. Stunning effects and a perfectly neurotic Kevin Bacon.. Of course, one could have expected better.. The considerations on Verhoeven are spot on, as he is an up-and-down genius of science fiction; I wonder why he has turned to thrillers or something like that lately.. Enlightening review on the technique, but you analyze the film a bit briefly..
