H.P. Lovecraft Zothique 14: speciale Weird Tales
Voto:
Forgive my naivety, but who chose the cover? It's exactly the kind of cheap imagery that prevented authors like HPL from being taken seriously. And I find it absurd, if not grave, that this spurious and somewhat superficial iconography is still insisted upon today. Surely, I'm missing more than a little, because I've never read Weird Tales nor the analyses that enrich this magazine, so it's possible that Lovecraft's stories were an exception in terms of poetic quality and artistic objectives.
It’s nonetheless curious that much of HPL's fortune is tied to this periodical, towards which, if I'm not mistaken, Our Lord had quite a few reservations. It seems to me that scattered throughout his letters are various anecdotes that testify to the foolishness, superficiality, and incompetence of the mythological Farnsworth Wright, who apparently was quite a wannabe, but at least he did something good... Good for him, because writings like these are always an interesting starting point.
Control Toys Soap Opera

A telenovela of Control Toys is a very noisy and sometimes chaotic journey through the life of the concept's protagonist; Tasha Tashì, a product of a hysterical family world, moves to the rhythm of punk, doom, speed metal, industrial and so on, through a not-so-happy existence, a sign of our sick times. But Control Toys has the ability to incorporate it all into the form of a 3-minute song, in which, amidst the chaos, it still finds time to catch up with some very catchy pop melodies. Good boy!

I don't like this album.. "On The Run" is one of the worst instrumentals of the seventies.. "The Great Gig In The Sky" really gets on my nerves.. But then again, I’ve listened to all the Pink Floyd, and I’ve never really liked them much.. It's clever of them to do these ridiculously expensive releases, because, like with every nonsense operation like this, there will always be some fool ready to throw money at someone.. If I had a super-famous band for over 60 years, I’d do exactly the same, and so would you!

You've literally tarnished the beautiful speech made about this record with an introduction centered around a fast-food clown for kids.. What a shame! However, I understand that sometimes the temptation to compare surimi to tiger shrimp for the sake of provocation is strong.. Perhaps the discordance seems so evident to me because I personally hold a calm and solid disdain for rap, hop hop, and the like, especially what doesn't exist in its original habitat.. But it is what it is..

In this second work, which follows the first, the use of "track" takes shape and substance, with as many as 10 occurrences compared to a maximum of 4 for "piece" and the laughable contribution from "song."
The excessively sparse use of commas detracts from the overall cohesion of the work, while the mystery of "where to go" after track number three remains, and will remain forever.
We could have been more incisive instead of molar, but we are only at the second review after the first..

I humbly think that if in the U.S. they had had, over the years, so many little "assaults on precinct 13" from these super turbo creative gangs, today we would have fewer shovels full of crap music around..

"Pieces" beats "Tracks" 5 to 3.
"One of the least valued albums for no good reason" is practically poetry..
Awkward and unintentional, I imagine, but still poetry..
