THE SINGLE FROM THE NEXT MST ALBUM - EVIL KIDS IS OUT
ANGRY GENERATIONS AGAINST A VIRTUALLY WRONG SYSTEM. MST RETURN TO THE MUSIC SCENE SCREAMING DREAMS AND PROCLAIMING NIGHTMARES.
After months of silent work and collaborations, the MST re-enter the music scene giving the newcomers in the Metal rock neighborhood a run for their money, releasing a new single just before Easter aimed at bringing back their message dedicated to this complex and often wrong era, screaming the need to change the game.
Can screaming help to be heard?
We feel increasingly sad or increasingly pissed off, given this so digital aspect in an ever more individualistic world where ghosting occurs and people grow up based on convenient stereotypes drowning their frustrations, where love relationships called 'liquid' are experienced more and more with behaviors where even a solid friendship becomes 'liquid'... not to mention TikTok... a big 'digital world of content' where everything is within reach but nothing really exists.
A maze of mirrors on which to smack one's face, finding a way out after immersing in an escape route, where delirium is born truth is generated.
Evil Kids the first single previewed from the new MST album – release scheduled for May 2023 – is online. YouTube, Spotify, and all official digital stores.
The video was shot entirely at night by the band, with the help of their now-official video maker Elia Ciamei, who, based on strong but simple equipment and lighting, used a completely empty, aseptic warehouse as the location to fill it with screams and grit... because they have a lot, and managed to interpret the sound of determination at its best.
MST is a band that stands out from the ordinary, metaphorically speaking, without even trying, since they have embraced a Dark, Pop, and even a bit of Grunge world to express themselves through a language and sound specially structured by the band's producer, with lyrics written and interpreted by the singer Biggie, who indeed always has something to communicate worth 'screaming' on behalf of this new generation that has so much to say and doesn't want to lose the chance to keep dreaming.
The new MST album will be titled EVIL KIDS, and will include tracks and collaborations featuring some of the emerging Trap and rock members of the Italian scene. A work that required months of silence for its preparation, perhaps the most interesting ever written to date, and which certainly will not disappoint fans, who are still jumping even now just 24 hours after the release of the new single.
