Giusy Ferreri Gaetana
Voto:
Your reasoning isn't entirely wrong. The problem is that it's applied to Giusy Ferreri, who, aside from her sweet eyes and big smile, doesn't have much artistic value. Get a grip.

Great. Your reviews are terrible but undoubtedly bring a certain joy, even if they sometimes make my hands itch a little. Three questions: first, what the hell does "structured on a pop rock with a definite grip" mean? Second, if this is a catchy little song like many others, why did you review it? And third: what is the obscure and cosmic meaning and sense of the phrase "Questo mi fa riflettere su come la musica in tutte le sue sfumature sia qualcosa di straordinaria, ed è bello ritrovare queste canzoni, brani a volte tralasciati, quasi ricoperti di polvere, scoloriti, che messi di nuovo nello stereo ritornano perfetti"? Please, enlighten me…

The last sentence, very much felt, is worth the review on its own. The real mistake is to still put hope in Italian music...
Umberto Lenzi Milano Odia: La Polizia Non Può Sparare

I haven't seen this, but if it's the same director as "Roma a Mano Armata" (a shining piece of pure trash), then it must be an interesting mess. Isn't the blonde guy Maurizio Merli, the unforgettable Commissioner Tanzi?
Frank Zappa Over Nite Sensation
Voto:
I would say you’ve hit the mark with this album. Listening to it after "The Grand Wazoo" is somewhat perplexing, because here we are in rather different stylistic territories. I would say that even though there’s more singing, it’s definitely not orthodox or trivial singing (just think of I'm The Slime, absolutely badass and intriguing). But knowing little about Zappa, I don’t feel comfortable saying more...
Pooh Ancora Una Notte Insieme

The Pooh are the only artists in the world who release posthumous albums while still alive.

The dream flies far away beyond The Great Gates of Kiev. This is the sublime..

Giustino makes me laugh out loud. This cartoon is funny precisely because the situations are absurd and exaggerated. I fondly remember an episode that parodied "The Thing On The Doorstep" by Lovecraft. It's definitely much better than "Cow and Chicken," which I think is animated poorly.
Paolo Conte The Best Of
Voto:
Well, he didn't give a four to Conte, but to the album. Good analysis anyway; I don't have this one, but I often enjoy his albums and live performances. "sotto Le Stelle Del Jazz" is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Huge Artist, for me the only living Italian singer-songwriter worthy of everlasting and total respect. My vote goes to him.
