Is it a review? I still can't figure it out...
Epica The Score - An Epic Journey

Dear foreveryoung, Simone's voice sometimes seems choked... however, let's avoid comparisons with other singers: she has a unique style, less sharp than that of her soprano colleagues (Tarja Turunen, Floor Jansen) or that of Sharon den Adel, but nonetheless distinctive and, above all, perfectly fitted into the power-neoclassical mood of her band.

oh yes, right outside these adversus. I wanted to buy the album but after listening to "borderlineprinzessin" I was left shocked. speechless. a horrible song that mixes incompatible elements. if this is the best of the album, I dread to imagine the others. anyway, the review is unique for its dialogical structure and also entertaining, a quality that's somewhat rare on this site. regards dear lady...

No, no... don't be modest. This is the best among those I've read so far. Who else speaks in images? I try, but your results are still far away. Respectful greetings.

I might risk becoming unpopular... but there are still evident syntactic and grammatical gaps. Don't take it the wrong way, Sly, but it seems that you misunderstood the band’s intentions, and not just that (Tuomas Holopainen has no intention of being defined as "a classical composer dedicated to metal music"; he has stated that many times. Furthermore, we all know that some of his main inspirations include Pink Floyd, hard rock bands, and power metal). Closing this small parenthesis about the Finnish band (which everyone is eagerly awaiting to return), I would like to criticize (what a harsh term) your following sentence: "Their alter ego has infinite dimensions and their status is too high to compose a classic Metal album (what music for crude people!) and thus they seek to impress with compositions as powerful and heroic as possible, they want to amaze with complex and sumptuous rides, they want to emphasize the most pompous and epic aspect of music, they want to fascinate." First of all, I believe that the experimental quality of "the score" is more than evident, so just for this reason, even if it's filled with useless episodes, I think it deserves a passing grade. Then... I don’t know how much you know about soundtracks, but the approach to an album of this kind always turns out to be somewhat tricky, as in these cases the music should be accompanied by images. For this reason, I do not think the album can be defined as pretentious; rather, it could be an extemporaneous and particular parenthesis to highlight the passion of the two musicians (the only ones who contributed to writing the songs) for soundtracks in general. Pretentious was the last release "the road to paradiso", pretentious are Therion with their worn-out and repeated style that no longer fascinates. Epica is a simple band, at risk and in danger of not being understood; they are perhaps among the few who have not let success go to their heads yet. Until next time!

Indeed, it seems a bit like a utopia, but in the band's sound there are no forcefulness... or at least, that's what I perceived.

I am well aware of the topics you mention in your review; I study foreign literature and, in any case, I have been passionate about literature and romantic poetry for a long time. However, I would prefer to replace "romanticist" with "romantic." That's all.

interesting but a bit brief... you should try not to overemphasize certain terms (romanticista doesn't exist) and topics. anyway, I didn’t understand if it’s an album or an EP...
