Come on, don’t be so down, irashalgor. No one told you to feel demoralized. Criticism, if constructive, should help you do better. In this sense, even an initial failure can be useful.

you usually wrote more emotive reviews; perhaps this one, discussing a music that is generally quite false and pre-set, which only has the name of "emo," was affected by the genre and the quality of the subject matter. I didn't really appreciate your focusing too much on the structure of each individual track, which I believe doesn't help people become interested in a proposal that is now worn out, offered in a thousand variations and drenched in truly pathetic pop choruses. this is what I think, but maybe enthusiasts will have differing opinions. as far as I’m concerned, the only ones who have positively surprised me lately are i am ghost, whose album I reviewed.

a beautifully written review (even if it plays a bit with some clichés that are now overused by certain old metal glories). I can only congratulate the reviewer for the good presentation: no one can take away a solid 5 during this lean time on debaser! As for the band, I don't know them, so I refrain from any judgment.

I would mention After Forever, Virgin Black, Aesma Daeva, or Epica. I believe that Therion during the time of Theli and Vovin were truly great (not so much anymore). But I would also mention less pompous bands like Silentium from the period of "Altum"... it's clear that our views are definitely different. Anyway, I agree with everything you've said, except for this: I don’t think the album deserves a 5, nor do I believe that Rhapsody are masters (Luca Turilli's solo work has also been quite pretentious and musically degenerated)... that’s all. You’re an intelligent person, I've noticed that from your various comments, so I don't want to start yet another uncivil "clash," and I apologize if I was a bit brusque in my previous message.
