So... a rather modest band, but from here to praising them, a lot of water will flow under the bridges... among other things, the reviewer didn't praise them (perhaps limiting it to their own sentimental sphere), because they were too inclined to write an atypical review, but it was too sparse and superficial to be anything more than acceptable... that said, the scores are equivalent :D

The song is nice, but I believe that beyond everything, the track will be remembered more for being a spontaneous collaboration with Ramazzotti (which, by the way, wasn't necessary since he has been singing all his songs the same way for years, and Tazenda have beautiful voices behind the microphone) than for being the album of a semi-unknown band... In Italy, it's like this; there are names that are "guarantees" because they are super-pumped by the media, and even if they release crap in compact disc format (as always happens), they still achieve success... If a group has the talent to stand out, sometimes they make it, like Negramaro, who in my opinion are good... They earned their success, and it doesn't seem to me at all (as the reviewer claimed) that they resemble Muse or Placebo, as all three bands have COMPLETELY different styles... In my opinion, this is just a self-sabotage for Tazenda; the single will reach the top of the Italian charts, but the album will be overlooked by some, and in a year, who will remember them? They will be there crying to be remembered only as "those who collaborated with Ramazzotti"... how sad, guys...

I listened to the album... unfortunately, I believe this is a genre that you have to appreciate for its sometimes excessive epicness in order to enjoy it. Let's be clear, on a technical and arrangement level, it might be an impeccable album, but it doesn't convey any emotion to me. It might be good at glorifying the glories of its ancestors and thrilling fans of myths and epic sagas... but for the rest, we’re not there. A passing grade earned thanks to a truly outstanding singer, the only one capable of moving me, especially in the clean parts.
