The album sucks donkey balls... it's a commercial operation made up of a meatloaf with a refrain (or however the hell you spell it) that's almost country. I disagree with the review because I think Reload is the least shitty of all the crap the Metallica have put out post-Black Album.

I would say that the album is not great, but Final Countdown is very nice... Among Europe, their last two are better...

I haven't heard the album, but just listening to the album after The Number Of The Beast made me feel nauseous... I'm tired of hearing about Iron Maiden and I don't understand why they're so praised by critics. The Number Of The Beast is the only one that stands out.

The review is very nice... The album is terrible except for the singles (which are basically half the album) I haven't seen the movie for which it is the soundtrack. I think the album works better in the scenes. A bit like Flash Gordon. At least that's what I thought before seeing it. The movie is a crazy mess and so is the album except for the sung tracks and a few other songs.
