I’m not a fan of The Simpsons, but it really seems ridiculous to say that their jokes are predictable. It’s truly a phenomenon, because that’s what it is, and it has genuinely raised a generation. I’ll refrain from voting on the review; it’s not a true review, but then again the author already warned us, so what blame can we assign? One thing is for sure, Poletti, South Park and The Griffins (and even Futurama, if we want to include it) are series of great respect. Whether or not they owe something to The Simpsons is debatable, but there’s no civil or moral rule that prohibits following trends set by others.
