Aaaaaaahhhhhh.... You were talking about Jethro! No, come on, the Jethro didn't play hard ;-) it was awesome, even though they're all around 60 or so they really held their own, especially Ian with the flute (his voice a bit less...). Then the rush you get when they kick off Locomotive Breath is spine-tingling!

@47: hell yeah! They rocked it. Besides Paranoid, can you imagine what happened during National Anthem... But the concert was amazing and I was able to enjoy my favorite piece to the fullest (I’d love to see them make a fuss even with How To Disappear Completely ;-)). I also saw Einstürzende (in Bologna) and there I really found an audience of true Music lovers with a capital M: obsessive attention to everything happening on stage and silence to fully enjoy the night until the last moment. Fantastic!

Don't worry Missing, I don't pay too much attention to those things, I prefer talking to people than selecting a "I love you" on my profile... Hi!

Thank you, Sid, but I don't think I share your musical tastes, no offense meant... Like last night I went to see the Jethro, do you like them?

Sid, I said 18,000 because that was the number of people there to see Radiohead. Of course, not everyone was moshing. Anyway, I'm not saying that anyone who moshes is brainless (I used to do it too at 16, but in nightclubs), and I'm not saying that what I don't like is necessarily wrong. If you read comment 88 again, you'll understand that I'm only against violent things that disturb others: if we're at a concert and I'm "frozen," you can enjoy it, but if you're shoving me every 30 seconds, I'm not enjoying it at all… and I think I have the same rights as everyone else. One last thing, I saw Afterhours in the front row at a mid-sized venue (around 2,000 people): that concert alone is enough to go home battered.

Yes, Larrok, it’s probably true, but I won’t admit it even if I’m dead ;-P. Anyway, better a mediocre Richards than a hundred virtuous ones coming out of the most renowned conservatories.

Great, I've learned a new face XD. Going back to the previous discussion, I don't agree with "if I see people or attitudes in a place that I don't like, I just change the air, what's the big deal?" The big deal is that if you've paid €50 for a concert and you want to see who’s performing, not the backs of 18,000 people in front of you. Otherwise, you're already an idiot once because €50 for a concert is too much, but you've spent it anyway, plus you feel like a complete fool because you haven't seen a thing.

No Larrok, don’t misunderstand! I definitely didn’t read that into it, I was just hoping that the discussion wouldn’t end up there (like so many times before). This made me think of "Do we want to talk about Keith? For goodness' sake, rock icon, bad and cursed, he’s written great riffs, but instrumentally he’s a bit of a dud," you know you touched a legend... And now a bit of advertising: Main Offender - Keith Richards - Recensione di ZannaB

Sid, I'm old and ignorant, can you explain to me what XD means????

Don't give me the usual technical musician=good musician talk... Richards isn't a guitar god, but the feeling he has is undeniable; very few can put the same emotion into their phrasing as he does.
