I stumbled upon this review by chance (I was looking for something else...) and I thought, "Wow, but it's Kosmo, it's the Nuebauten and I haven't read it??? Impossible!!!" Nice little page Kosmina, those compressors have left an impression on you, huh...? ;-) It's been a while since I listened to this album; I usually prefer Silence, it's "lighter," but since you reminded me of it tonight, I'll put it back on! Best regards!!!!

Five-star review, even just for "niosame vario"!!! The album might not be for me, or maybe it is, who can tell? We'll see...
P.S.: can you explain the last sentence???

Fantastic! It's perhaps the EN album I listen to the most, even if it’s not the most important one. Sure, the first part of their career was more significant musically speaking, but I remain convinced that they made their best choice when they changed direction (can you imagine Blixa with the belly he has now and his hair parted to one side as a sound engineer???). I don't really like the review, but maybe it’s because I’m very attached to this album; I doubt I could ever like a review of it.
PS: they don't have a snare...

I don't have this, but I know Spencer and I got it (maybe not from the first line, but I got it). Of course, it would be cool to see Verdone and your bricklayer friend on stage with Jon, unlikely but cool...

I completely agree, Mad; the masterpieces of the grunge era are many and quite different from one another, I would add. However, I've always associated grunge with a certain sense of alienation, a feeling of discomfort, something sickly. Among the various masterpieces we've mentioned, there are some albums that evoke this feeling for me, and others that don't. Above and Temple of the Dog are masterpieces just like (to give an example) Superunknown and Ten, but the first two convey that typical sense of alienation found in grunge, while the latter two do not (without, of course, taking anything away from them from a purely musical standpoint!).

What the hell, this is the fourth review I’ve come across of these Boris without knowing they existed, you have to enlighten me! Are they human? Are they edible? Are they contagious?
If the answers are no, no and yes, then recommend an album to start with!
P.S.: great reviews, both this one and the other one on the homepage! ;-)
