Fuck! Has no one reviewed them yet? Then I'll do it! And right away.

Rising from the ashes of another crushing Italian reality, namely Slaiver, Cani per colazione set the speakers ablaze with this debut EP. And their instruments. It's a triumph of guitars, an orgy of distortions. "The Beginning" is the caterpillar that paves the way, the 6 and 4 strings crush you relentlessly, and the pauses are full of feedback and various noise, and, as if that weren't enough, to increase the brain annoyance comes the baritone sax of Luca Mai from Zu that doubles the lead melodies, adding that background noise you just want to escape from, yet there it is. And it gets you.

"Blood River" is a slashing across the eyes, after a guitar introduction lost in the ether, a constantly tense hardcore, as if it were jazz language transposed under 1.21 gigawatts (great Scott!) of wicked guitars, the voices increase the sense of despair, there's not a moment's pause, and the fury is debilitating. And if you really want it, then the music box of "Three Steps To Salvation" is your lifeline, the instruments start from a distance, as if they were trapped right in the wooden box of that little instrument, synths paint the background of an expressionist painting made of hate in a triumphant rage, then a crescendo towards an electric golem, it shreds your brain, the sax returns. It’s the end.

("Do you review people you know? "Hell yes, I do, otherwise how the hell would the good stuff spread in Italy?" "Mtv, silly!")
