Ben Harper Diamonds On The Inside
Voto:
I know that some probably think the 5 stars are exaggerated, but this is one of the most sought-after albums on my playlist. Because in this work, which we can consider commercial, Ben shows us all his talent, he demonstrates everything he can do, like peeking into his world. He ranges from country to country rock, to spiritual, to reggae, to blues, to folk, and he does it extraordinarily and plausibly. Let’s not forget about the voice. It’s hard to find such a complete musician in today’s music scene. Extraordinary.

I’m pleased to see that this time, we agree to some extent. While I appreciated your picturesque review, I tend to consider this work by Harper very good. It doesn't deserve the 5 stars of Diamonds, and not even the 4 of Di, but it remains a valuable piece that stands out for its originality and musical expertise, compared to the conformist and poor-quality products currently found in the commercial landscape. I’ve given it 3 stars because I agree with you on the repetitiveness of the slow tracks and especially on the trivial and silly fact of creating two CDs when there was no need for it. Until next time.

I don't agree with you on anything, I find this record more commercial, but that doesn't mean it's bad. In fact, I must say I think it's excellent, not intrusive at all, pleasant in all circumstances. It doesn't demand anything, true, but sometimes pure entertainment, when done well, is worth as much as virtuosity. Daisy has effortlessly replaced Skye.
