The discussion on consistency is interesting. If I may share my thoughts on the matter, I think that consistency is not always a virtue. After all, who are the most consistent people in the world? Fanatics! Moreover, who among you wouldn’t be afraid to face a serial killer consistent with his beliefs? Those who are inconsistent are often accused of hypocrisy, immorality, and moralism (understood as preaching well and practicing badly), but at this point, hypocrisy and inconsistency are welcome. All in all, it's the lesser evil. The most notorious bloodthirsty figures in history have been consistent, imprisoned by their own sometimes absurd ideas.
