I like the album, but I think you’re right in saying: the psychedelic vein is more diluted... compared to the 13th Floor Elevators. They are truly the first reference group for psychedelia understood as making music while taking drugs, in order to expand and develop the faculty of perceiving our inner world, our consciousness. Meanwhile, on the West Coast, the Grateful Dead were getting known and... I want to also remember the Moby Grape who made great music even though calling them psychedelic is a bit of a stretch. PS Tobacco Road is absolutely a must-listen, I’ll put a link in the DePlaylist.

I only have Rock Bottom; after the first listen, it didn't excite me, but over time it became one of my favorite albums. (I have many favorite albums.)

I read "Storie di ordinaria follia" and I didn't like it. Many consider him a writer of the Beat Generation, but in my opinion, he has little to do with that literary genre.
