I called him a fool just to summarize... one could also make a thorough analysis of someone who goes to war with everyone, but in the end, you can arrive at only one conclusion. Bismarck always won because he never opposed more than one enemy, and when he was sidelined by Wilhelm, the first brick was laid for the ruin of Germany.

Bruno Ganz's performance is superb, the film is well made and, as you say, it is not revisionist, but rather an attempt to portray Hitler outside of stereotypes, let’s say... by humanizing him. Hitler was able to profit from the fact that Germany, after losing World War I, emerged humiliated from the Treaty of Versailles, to the point of stirring up feelings of revanchism in the population, which Hitler rigorously rode, ultimately attaining power. But in my opinion, he didn't have strong political stature even before the war... between us, I thought he was an idiot; the only true great statesman that Germany ever had was Bismarck...

After Misery, King's book is one of his best... if I'm not mistaken, a film has been made from almost every story, with Stand By Me being very beautiful.

One cannot deny that it is a film that is easily enjoyable. That's all I need.

I agree, Know-it-all, when he made Kill Bill, he was too full of himself; after watching the first part, I had no interest in watching the second. Too long, I would give it 2 balls.
