Willie is my favorite blues composer. There isn't an artist who doesn't have something of his in their repertoire (even Led Zeppelin), ha ha. But the truth must be told, and this is undeniable. Besides that, the review is up to par.

There was another one who hated summer, his name was Bruno and he was very good. I also love the Beastie Boys. In the song I listened to, I hear a lot of the Ramones, nice. The writing is as usual simple and very understandable, which for me is a virtue. Well done.

Great album and great band, one of those that stands the test of time really well. And, at least for me, that's not the case for all the punk bands I liked back then.

I saw him yesterday. Garrone has returned to take up the theme that led him to make my favorite film: L'imbalsamatore, also inspired by a news story, Il nano di termini, if I remember correctly. Then there was also Primo Amore inspired by the story of the anorexic hunter. But L'imbalsamatore is an incredibly inspired noir that captivates and fascinates both for its cinematography and for the skill of the actors. Dogman is of good quality; Garrone still shows he has visionary talent, and the film has several merits, effectively portraying the malaise of a suburb, but the peaks of L'imbalsamatore are far away.

As for The Great Beauty, I give it two stars. Not because it revisits the same themes as La Dolce Vita, but because there is an exaggerated search for the right photography and framing. What I perceive as exaggerated wears me down; I don't like it, it bores me. Many improbable characters, atrocious, unbearable, the nun with a hint of sainthood, but she's not the only questionable figure. In short, a painfully slow film with dialogues that lack any expressive power; I will never like it. Verdone acts well only when he is playing himself or caricaturing someone; he excels in those cases... A far l'amore comincia tu, I didn't mind.

I saw it again after watching La grande bellezza. I’ve changed my mind a bit; as @[polpetta] says, it is quite boring. However, I won’t change the comment I made back then. I’ll just add that it’s a bit tedious compared to Apokalypse Now.

They did something good, but there are artists I prefer to listen to.

It perfectly describes his quirky personality, his way of playing. Atypical and genius, the most talented of Bebop jazz musicians.
