With Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers, and very few others, Johnny Cash is one of the most important artists in the country scene. A bridge between the genre and other sounds.

@pretazzo, listen to Like A Rolling Stone, Desolation Row, or even better All Along the Watchtower, which was also (better) covered by Jimi Hendrix; you might change your mind about Dylan not making Rock. In this regard, during the concert at the Albert Hall in 1966, when some folk-obsessed spectator booed him and shouted "Judas," Dylan responded irately, "You Are A Lier."

@donjunio, Dylan had many followers, not just Neil Young, but also John Prine to name one good but lesser-known artist... also De Gregori. I don't think they copied him, but rather it was the environment and the cultural situation in general that led many singer-songwriters to write in a certain way. As for Young, I was not a fan of his because at that time there was the rivalry between Young and Stills, I preferred the latter. But in my opinion, no one had the talent of Bob Dylan.

I see there's a frenzied interest in this great artist; if I were the reviewer, it would give me great pleasure.

I remember when we were messing around in Salerno.........

I’ve never been a fan of Neil Young. In an interview, Dylan said (more or less) that while listening to him on the radio, he couldn't tell if it was a cover of one of his songs or an original piece by Young. However, I don’t mean to say it’s not worth it.

Almost every day a review of Metallica comes out, I no longer feel like talking about it.

Jackson Browne is one of the greatest songwriters of the seventies. His first 5 albums are all fantastic: Late For The Sky, The Pretender, Running On Empty, are 5-star masterpieces, For Everyman, and Jackson Browne (Saturate Before Using) are 4-stars. Unfortunately, I don't know this album.

I remember Scialpi when he sang Rocking Rolling, he was great, much more suited to being a model than a singer.

I don't know this live, but Little Earthquakes is a good album.
