MuffinMan saying that the music of R.E.M. is all the same, made with a photocopier or copy and paste seems like heresy to me. In my opinion, you don’t know them well, or you haven’t understood that they managed to create clear sound balances, sometimes serene, other times on the edge of pain, fully embracing the discontent of a large multitude of kids from the eighties. To the list made by MisterGigi, I add Talk About The Passion, What's The Frequency Kenneth, South Central Rain, Perfect Circle, Fall On Me, Shiny Happy People.

I don't agree with MuffinMan who judges them as pathetic; this is a great band that has written amazing music. They have been at the forefront of the music scene for almost thirty years.

Reed plays and composes with the same ease as I blow my nose.

M.Poletti, this film is not a comedy, but the drama of a person who cannot accept themselves. MuffinMan, that list of films you wrote is almost all beautiful, in my opinion Il Sorpasso would fit perfectly in that list.

Great review for a film that I believe is a masterpiece; it reminds me of Asphalt Jungle but only slightly, as it is actually different. The final scene with the money flying away is extraordinary. I think something similar happened in another film (which I can't recall the name of), and I have in my head that it's an idea from Hemingway. I'm not sure, so if anyone could clarify, I would be happy.

With Jimi Hendrix, he was (for me) the one who could do the best things with the electric guitar. I saw him live many years ago in Florence (I think), and despite there being tens of thousands of people, I managed to enjoy the concert, savoring passages, riffs, I don't know what word to use, that only he can create. The same goes for the "electric" atmosphere he knows how to create with his guitar.

I disagree with MuffinMan, this movie is, in my opinion, the best by Francesco Rosi, and consequently one of the best films in Italian cinema.

I share the same opinion as MisterGigi, and I would add that in my view, Benigni can do almost anything, but not the director.

It's challenging to create a tragedy that also allows you to savor the taste of comedy. One of the best Italian films (but not only) of all time.
