For me, one of the best Krimson. Fripp has proven his ability to regenerate even after the first, more celebrated albums, delivering great music afterwards as well. Good review.

Good review. I've seen the movie, but I don't remember much because I didn't like it. I only remember Christopher Walken as the paraplegic boss, and that it echoed Tarantino's filmmaking style... or am I mistaken?

One of the best albums of the 60s. The value of the band is inversely proportional to their popularity.

I'm not familiar with this one, but I have Axeman's Jazz, which is blooded rock and also rough, made and played well. A band that I consider among the best Australian ones. Good review.

Attitude = inclination, tendency, propensity, vocation. These are all terms that can be ascribed to both Richman and Tav Falco in their approach to music. As I have already written, the impact they create when listened to is one of proto-punk, raw, but also natural, genuine, straightforward. The biggest difference is that "Behind The Magnolia Curtain," as supersoul rightly points out, is mostly made up of covers in a psychobilly style, while Jonathan is more of an author and humorously refers back to the r&r of the past also through the form of the song or nursery rhyme. Listen to them again before making extravagant comments like the difference between the two in terms of music and attitude was abyssal.

I talked about approach, to music, now that I've downloaded the whole CD, I think the statement holds true. I have Richman's self-titled album from '76, and the impact it gives when listening to it is of a proto-punk, raw, but also natural, genuine, straightforward. An artist who doesn't care about joining the Star System, just like Tav Falco and Alex Chilton himself.

I downloaded "She's the one that got it," and it's true that there's quite a bit of Cramps. But, in my opinion, the journalist who wrote the article was not wrong in saying that Tav Falco had a musical approach similar to Jonathan Richman.

I read an article about Tav Falco many years ago. If I remember correctly, his way of making music was compared to that of Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers, or am I wrong? I would have liked to have it... but maybe it’s not too late. Anyway, great Alex Chilton.

It's one of the few by Mayall that I don't know. I've seen him live a couple of times, and all the albums I have are great. His mentor J.B. Lenoir is also very talented. Anyone who loves blues should have both in their CD collection.
