Joni Mitchell Wild Things Run Fast
Voto:
Look, I consider Mitchell one of the best artists of her time, but I can comfortably say of all time. A well-rounded artist, she was also an excellent painter. I don't know the album; I stopped following her after Hejira. Good review.
Igort 5 è il numero perfetto
Voto:
I like the genre and it seems to me that it has good potential. Then, if as you say, it’s not a fully resolved film, I believe it. However, I would like the path not to be abandoned; for example, I liked Lo chiamavano Jeeg robot even though it’s only vaguely in the comic genre but has several connections. Good review.
Jim Jarmusch Only Lovers Left Alive
Voto:
You’ve beautifully described Jim Jarmusch's way of making cinema. I liked the review, but I haven't seen the film. I'll watch it at the first opportunity.
The Rats The Rats
Voto:
Good review, as for the weird ones, when they saw me, they thought: look, there’s a weirdo...
Joe Jackson Big World
Voto:
It's Joe's season; this is the third one I'm commenting on in a few days... Anyway, he was good, and you can tell you like him...
Joe Jackson Body and Soul
Voto:
The album is nice, and the review seems good to me as well.
Memphis Slim & Willie Dixon The Blues Every Which Way
Voto:
I also like Memphis Slim, and if you add that I consider Dixon one of the most important composers of the post-war era, it follows that the record is definitely good. The review is also good, written with passion.
Ennio Flaiano Diario degli errori
Voto:
Flaiano is a great... I'll quote one myself: In Italy, the shortest line between two points is the arabesque. Good review.
Mark Fisher Realismo capitalista
Voto:
It explains the perpetual twilight of the capitalist system, starting from the premise that “it is easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism.” "Capitalism is invincible because it encompasses everything and turns everything into something to be traded." "A making money to make money, without roots, because we don’t know how to do anything else." I fundamentally agree with everything. I just want to add, regarding Facebook and the internet in general, that even though it allows you to "speak" with someone on the other side of the world, it is a relationship devoid of substance, empty. We have evolved as social animals, so we need eye contact, gestures, to hear the tone of voice, pauses, physical contact, in addition to words. On the internet, we do not talk, we write and we use emoticons to understand each other better, but we will never reach an understanding, a closeness, that can come close to what evolution has led us to. More and more, we live in a world of lonely people, often desperately alone. The internet does not bring us closer; it drives us apart. What good are 300 "friends" with whom you only communicate by commenting on quotes or anything that is posted without a specific reason, without an inner impulse that drives you to do it? A simple "fuck you" said across the table at a bar means more than anything posted on social networks. If you then add the rest that is written in this book, that money has become the measure of everything, it’s not hard to understand where we are headed. Good review.
Enzo Jannacci L'importante
Voto:
Aside from the charm of the character, Jannacci has written both engaged and light-hearted songs, always beautiful.
