Ian Gillan Greatest Hits: Live In Concert

So, a few clarifications:
From the tracklist of the CD, I gather that the recordings are from different periods.
Some should belong to the IAN GILLAN BAND, whose lineup included Colin Towns on keyboards, Ray Fenwick on guitar, John Gustafson on bass, and Mark Nauseef on drums, while others are performed by GILLAN, another project that is not a solo endeavor but a group. In this lineup, Bernie Tormè was on guitar, Colin Towns on keyboards, Mick Underwood on drums, and John McCoy on bass. Later, Janick Gers, the future guitarist of Iron Maiden, joined the band, replacing Tormè. Lucille is not by Deep Purple but by Richard Penniman, better known as Little Richard (an idol of Gillan). This latter lineup represents the creative peak and the best moment of Gillan Post (and also Pre) Purple. An excellent rediscovery of a sadly forgotten musical project.

Just for the instrumental part of "Marquee Moon," this album deserves 5 stars....

Good review. A step below "Modern Times" but almost an epic film. 4 and a half for the movie. Napaloni: "I invented the club!!"
Badfinger The Very Best Of Badfinger

The album "no dice" is nice. Nice songs, but little personal style. Ham was, however, a good guitarist with a nice touch, especially live. McCartney wrote "come and get it" for them.

Well yes, apart from the grammatical errors (mostly the sentence structure), there’s nothing nonsense... a 2.5. I completely agree on Bon.
