In the reviews that you yourself call "delicate," dear junkyfunkyboy, I would avoid giving the green light to anonymous (fecal, as seen right above) comments. Regards.

"you", Milanese. see how vulgar I am? you are disarmingly petty anyway, you ran out of reasons (the ones you thought you had) already at the bottom of the page. rest your eyes and fingers, and have just a tad more respect. good evening to everyone.

arroscia: you really didn’t understand anything, stop bothering me with your comments that have nothing to do with the issue. If you read my comments you will understand that what I’ve been saying for quite some time has nothing to do with insults to a particular category of users that existed even before, but rather with a certain value system that is causing this user segment to expand frighteningly, exponentially increasing the level of superficiality (and along with it the random maxims and subjective re-evaluations of subcultures) of the "audience." You can listen to and read whatever you want, "sensitivity" (which you are demonstrating that you lack) is something else entirely. We are what we eat up to a certain point.

You're right, I may have only considered that the indifference towards the character comes solely from me, and after all, I'm young too, what do you think! From my side, I expressed a critique, in my opinion legitimate, on the fact that the music is for everyone, (and ideally also the other arts), but it’s not for everyone to express orders of magnitude, because one can have expertise in the matter regardless of personal tastes. The "shameful" insults towards the singer frankly leave me cold, because, as I mentioned earlier, they stem from a resentment based on trivial assumptions, since criticizing the character is equivalent to criticizing a product, moreover giving it more visibility. (The many outsiders who have intervened on the site demonstrate this) This type of music is aimed at a certain audience and the criticism from "alt" listeners is absolutely gratuitous. However, it is undeniable that, broadening the issue, we are heading towards (it's not a novelty and it may be trivial to point out) a general cultural impoverishment, of which programs like Amici are merely the tip of the iceberg, because as you emphasized, it’s marketing that responds to the needs of the public; however, by doing so, a narrowing of the "critical perspective" is created in all fields of culture, when a simple supply-demand relationship becomes characteristic of thinking and a cornerstone for the judgment of any work. Best regards to you too.

Dear dona59, I take the liberty of crowning this day spent doing nothing by responding to your comment. In my opinion, your perspective on the matter is not wrong, but it misses the heart of the discussion, which is not about Marco Carta, but a bit broader. Music is art, and although it is the most immediate, it can be objectified and placed in a critical perspective just like painting or literature. Or do you want to tell me that Mario Carta and Faust are on the same level, depending on taste? That said, the presumption is shown, paradoxically, by the very enthusiasts of such "supermarket" products (euphemism) who, fearful of expanding their cultural horizon (or who simply do not want to—there's nothing wrong with not being passionate about jazz, for example), silence others, the critics, and resort to subjectivity in judgment (something that no one has ever denied). To conclude, all the love of a housewife for a romance novel will not place it qualitatively above Orwell's 1984. And let me (us) have the presumption to say that they don't understand a thing, since you have said that in the end, it’s us who don’t understand anything.

..and indeed philosophically it has nothing to do with metal, (as I mentioned a few comments ago) especially the self-titled album. but the music of Alice in Chains is infinitely heavier or suffocating than any album by Metallica and their hammering companions.. but you, Stoney, only know idiot metalheads?
