Opeth Ghost Reveries
Voto:
This is my first album by Opeth, I liked it a lot, but if it's really this far below expectations (?!), I have quite a few good reasons to check out the earlier ones...

June 4/5/6 are the dates, but I wouldn’t want to say a big f*** up… I think this year the event is simply unmissable!

Big news: this year at the Gods of Metal there will be Dream Theater, Black Sabbath, Porcupine Tree, Opeth... on the same day! I'm going to buy the tickets!
Rush Moving Pictures

wonderful! witch hunt reminds me a lot of the early black sabbath, but there’s a reason for it in the album's organic nature.. I also really like vital signs, which foreshadows the band's next direction and is enjoyable and original; I don't understand why it isn’t mentioned... good review, otherwise...

ps: enric@ your musical horizons (but how old are you?) don’t allow you to make an objective judgment on this emo-pop nonsense, nor to say that the legitimate negative comments on the matter are the result of ignorance. period.

beautiful review, really, but the group in question is truly a concentrate of banality, clichés, and pretentious quote-dropping, making it really irritating.. it may be true that they are a promise for the future, a sign of the dullness towards which current music is heading..

ghallager87, you’re a complete idiot, the disgrace and shame of your generation... Oasis is the praise of mediocrity, the symbol of the haphazardness of current pop rock, the oblivion of creativity... Metallica is the typical example of a band that blazed a trail (though I don’t even like the early stuff) but failed to resist the call of profit, proving to be nothing more than posers... all my solidarity to silian, who doesn’t need to waste words defending Townshend and company, God bless you.
Carpathian Forest Defending The Throne Of Evil
Voto:
hellkommander, Nattefrost is a complete idiot, and behind his empty blasphemies hides an absolute lack of ideas... Blood and Vomit is a colossal mess, perhaps the worst album in the history of Black, finished with the last gasps of Venom, Bathory, and Celtic Frost...
Nattefrost Blood And Vomit

I saw the cover of Regurgitate... they are really hitting rock bottom, way down... anyway, after Nattefrost titled the last Carpathian album "fuck it all," showcasing his extensive knowledge of genre clichés by cramming them in, he should have made it clear what the true measure of this "artist" is... little blood and a lot of vomit.
