Niccolò Fabi Sereno Ad Ovest

But DaveJon, don't you think you're exaggerating?? I love prog as much, if not more than you do. I've listened to hundreds of those albums; I have the complete discographies of Caravan, King Crimson, Genesis, Van Der Graaf Generator, and Peter Hammill… I could go on forever. I grew up with the Beatles and Led Zeppelin, not to mention your beloved Pink Floyd, of which I have the entire discography, live recordings, videos, solo albums, and various bootlegs. Just because of this, I can't say that Niccolò Fabi is trash. In fact, I think he's one of the best Italian singer-songwriters. Look, there's a lot of great music written even after '79!! (For example, Discipline by KC is from '81!! :D) Broadening one’s horizons without barricading oneself behind useless pseudo-integralist barriers can be a good exercise for the mind. I recommend it to you…

No, I didn't get any dates in Italy because I have to admit that I’m a bit reluctant to see Pink Floyd as solo artists. I would like to see them together again. If that doesn’t happen, I’ll settle for my discography. And then, excuse me: how can I be optimistic with the statements that Waters and Gilmour make?? Those two will never reconcile.... it was already incredible to see them in the classic lineup at Live8!!!!

Surely he would have sold quadruple. But Wright's contribution would have birthed who knows what other gems. Unfortunately, I fear it will be very difficult to see them together again....

I loved the review and I absolutely adore the album as well. Even if "Felona e Sorona" is a notch above. And with the lyrics translated into English by Hammill... fantastic Orme!!! One of the great rock bands in the history of Italy!!!

In my opinion, this album is way too underrated. It may not be their masterpiece, but it's a very honest record.

When I bought it and listened to it for the first time, I was enchanted by a couple of songs (On an Island, The Blue), but overall I didn't like it that much. However, with each listen it got under my skin, and now I consider it a beautiful album. But can you imagine if instead of being a solo album by Gilmour, it had been a work by Pink Floyd as a trio? What wonders would have emerged thanks to the contributions of Wright and Mason?

Bruce Springsteen Darkness on the edge of town

The "Boss's" masterpiece in my opinion!! An album to be listened to in one go, while driving on a deserted road immersed in the "darkness" of the night!! "Adam raised a Cain" is, in my view, one of the gems of Springsteen's career.

@DaveJonGilmour: I get that you don't like it, but saying it's overrated seems a bit much.
