Because the albums you nominated are worthy of being near 'Foxtrot' or 'Selling England by the Pound' (and I'm sticking with Genesis) - Yes, why not... :D

The Verdena are a typical 'Italian case', so if someone in Italy makes Rock as it should be and without showing any inferiority complex compared to the 10,000 Anglo-Saxon groups hyped by the media, they must logically be slaughtered with every new release. Beyond, at times, a certain musical self-indulgence and lyrics often hovering between non-sense and irritating, this remains an album with balls (listen to the final track 'Sotto prescrizione..').

A useless and annoyingly baroque group, an ultra-kitsch fusion between RATM and Queen (listen to believe the mind-boggling 'Knights of Cydonia'). And then in Italy, there are those who scoff at Verdena... Alright!
P.S.- DaveJon, the PF ended with 'The wall', the last worthy work of such a name; 'The final cut' is a disgrace and also assembled with scraps from '79 by the despot Waters, the rest until '94 is the 'David Gilmour Band' - a cover band of times gone by composed of three retired billionaires.

Counter, I’m one of those 2 or 3 people who consider 'Mondi lontanissimi' a great record, among the best from Catania... Maybe you don’t appreciate it because of the beast you carry inside, which takes everything - even the coffee!; it makes you unhappy and a slave to your passions, and it never gives up, but that’s just how it is.. :)

Great album, the best after 'lavocedelcapo'; just to mention 'Via lattea', 'No time, no space', 'I treni di Tozeur' and 'L'animale'..

Guys, aside from the fact that TR doesn’t make a bad album even if forced by a timed bomb behind the toilet bowl (he just needs to have a laptop with him..), to me this 'Year Zero' seems pretty mediocre if I think about PHM or 'Broken' - and I’ll stop here... But is it that you got all hyped just because the good Trentino is messing around a bit more with electronics compared to WT? At times he comes across as a tacky and wannabe version of Aphex Twin (not to mention of himself)! 'The Great Destroyer' especially, with that ridiculous coda, is a sonic fart to those who want experimentation from Trentino and 'show-it-off' at all costs; in short, he’s really taking the piss, and in this too he’s a genius (forget the concept about conspiracy in a hypothetical police state and drugs for mass control, the dear Trent must have read too much Dick..). After a careful listen, let’s say yes, it’s cute, but Christ, we’re talking about Reznor; not Subsonica..

You're absolutely right, damn, that 'Beside you in time', 'Right where it belongs', 'The line begins to blur', 'Love is not enough' or 'Sunspots' suck..

He wrote 'almost all the sounds' of 'Fight Club' and '300'?! Even my imaginary dog is laughing; and look, beso, that for me Reznor is a Great, but you need to STUDY properly, damn it! - Certain statements diminish Trentino...

'..he invented sounds that, by their own admission(?), were then reused by Depeche Mode and David Bowie!(!!)..' -Take it easy with the nonsense, or I’ll give you a ticket, okay?..
