'..the first queen fucked everyone over, and no one noticed..' -You did, though.. :D
But please, lux, have mercy and let’s talk about serious things.. We're a bit stubborn, huh, and yet I thought I had made myself clear in the other recequeen: drag queens aren't conservative, not at all, considering they did nothing more than package the operetta of the previous century with a hard rock that is 98% empty and superficial. I also never said that Mercury and company took themselves seriously. The focal point is that: it’s those clueless fans aged 15-20 (up to 40, for sure!) who get hyped about them, soaked by the media and mass conformity. So, you know what? Even Vascorossi, saint immediately!!

Genius?! I'd rather not understand then, in fact I drift into autism and fill my thoughts with Maya Gold and Sofia Gucci..

Damn, if you want you’re a great guy! ;)
P.S. - The last of Sonic Youth? Chiribbio, I don't mind it at all:
if only we had albums like this after 25 years...

Metallà, if Arianna doesn't choose you, she can always switch to Cagnaccio:
I could talk to her for hours about 20th-century artistic vanguards.. ;D

The great JD of Curtis didn’t have the melodic approach and romantic pathos of Interpol; they were more claustrophobic, cold, and 'nervous'; that's why, beyond Banks' vocals, I don’t find all these analogies. Of course, they had mediocre times, but in today's so-called 'mainstream', I still consider them among the best (along with Arcade Fire, Wilco, and a few others…).

If by formal rigor you mean c, then it can apply to Herzog; but that was certainly not Coppola's aim, rather a 'total' film about Cinema as well as the first true 'romantic' adaptation of the Undead by Bram Stoker. A visionary masterpiece, it hardly matters that Reeves plays the role of the 'puppet': in the hands of the 'puppeteer' Francis, what counts is the overall structure of the work, not the performance of the individual, which is merely a 'relative' reflection on screen of the literary character.

Well, then I could be your uncle weepingwall.. The fact remains that as a first recedebaser you started off badly, really. Gone are the days of Antonino '91, he was really sharp at 13 (I believe)!

"The film is also steeped in a strong 'Catholic' and sexophobic morality... -An insane statement, warranting immediate hospitalization; it must be the heat getting to your head... But have you read Stoker, for god's sake?!"

My open-mindedness is as wide as Eva Herzigova's legs, and the junkyard is a myth for me... I’ll have to pedal so much to reach it that not even if I ride like that fox Armstrong during the 7th 'Tour de France'! Thanx forever and ever, that's it! ;)
