Poletti, but did you really put me in 'Compagni de scuola'?! Come on, only the trash character of Tony Brando (the only C. De Sica I can stand), the fools Santolamazza and Lepore, or the prince of the losers Finocchiaro are worth a comic career. You can't treat me Carlo in this way, this is a comedy with perfect mechanisms - tinged with a tender melancholy that in Italy others can only dream about at night. The best Verdone is 'Un sacco bello', 'Borotalco' and 'Maledetto il giorno che t'ho incontrato'.
