Agreeing with pretazzo, for me that triad represents Buckley-father at its best. 'Goodbye And Hello' may be a bit unripe and somewhat naive, but wonders like 'Pleasant Street' or 'Morning Glory' tug at the heart.

Okay Grant, after many listens I have to (almost) agree with you on "Axxelerate"... Excellent, tight & melodically solid; I raise my rating from 3.5 to 4 stars (it's not often that I buy a record by fifty-year-olds). The best R.E.M. since 'Up', it delivers on what it promises with the acceleration.
