The best Mars Volta, there's no doubt about it. I give a 4.5 for the commitment shown by the band during the recording. The singer is a nice beach guy, but now he uses his voice like Alvin from the Chipmunks.

In terms of effects, Trent has been a bit too much of a show-off lately, but at least we're not at such murky levels.. And at least he GIVES away his music (like it or not).
