Metallica Live at "Rock am Ring 2006"

Metallica, there's no denying it, will always remain in the history of rock and metal. Sure, the last album is truly a disgrace. I hope the upcoming one is a bit more worthy. As for the bassist, I really preferred Newsted to Rob. And I think you’ve said a huge blunder, that Hetfield's voice is always gritty...his voice is pathetic now. And then the 'tallica don't even move on stage anymore...they're a bit dull, but as for the instrumental, I still find them exceptional! Just think, I’ve never seen them live. Maybe my next musical destination will be Zurich (I hope they perform there soon)...anyway, I watched Rock Am Ring on TV, and I found it splendid, voice aside.

I have a soft spot for communists, but the nice rating has nothing to do with politics =) and this is certainly the best review of HammerFall that has been written on this site..

It's the only CD by HammerFall that I know. Just as I'm about to criticize this review, I'm listening to "Hammer Of Justice" (it doesn't seem like you mentioned the song in question, nor did you mention the others)... your review isn't a real review; you merely criticize it heavily without knowing what you're talking about. If you really know this band and this album (because to criticize, you must KNOW), I invite you to justify your criticisms differently than you have, for example by quoting some song lyrics and explaining what you find senseless about them. I find the album beautiful. Bye.

For me, Led Zeppelin are already part of metal, solidified later by Iron Maiden... The CD is fantastic, and I also find the review worthy.

What can I say about this group? I don't know... at first glance (when I heard them in Milan) I found them terrible. But then I tried to search for some of their songs and I must say I don't find them that awful. Of course, saying they're on par with Iron or Metallica (both groups that have been their support) is really a big whopper, but I like them now.

Unfortunately, there are two details of the review that are not as I expected: first of all, I had sent the cover in full, but it seems it didn't arrive; second, I thought the title was something like "COVER OF SOMEWHERE IN TIME"... oh well. Use your imagination! =)

Well, I have to say that Italian isn't your strong suit: when writing a review (even though you've already been told this, so it's pointless for me to repeat it), one should make an effort to avoid abbreviations. Also, it doesn't take much to proofread what you've written. Anyway, the concert was legendary (I went the night before), the guy who threw the bottle was an idiot, and the Moroccan who sold me the sweatshirt was a scammer. Still, they should release the live CD of this, if only they hadn't created the banal Death On The Road. It's precisely due to the lack of songs like The Trooper, Run To The Hills, The Number Of The Beast, which made the concert a bit different from the usual. That said, I would have been more than happy to hear them, since it was my first Maiden concert! By the way, for anyone interested (information to add to TheWickerMan's), the intro was composed by Gustav Holst and is taken from the work The Planets.
UP THE IRONS!
