...and if instead of the singer there had been the guitar...maybe it would have been better. Not a bad record, but I think the worst part is actually tench, who seems like a faded photocopy of Rod Stewart. But the blame is probably on Beck, who might have deliberately chosen such a singer to continue down the well-trodden path. Or maybe the record label...who knows?

The album that technically sounds the best is probably Blues from Laurel Canyon, while the one where he puts in the most feeling (combined with incredible technique) is Sticky Fingers and Exile. Then there are Crusade, Bare Wires, Goat's Head Soup... this is nothing compared to that.
