Well, you've said a lot without really saying much at all; it actually seems like there’s little listening behind your reviews, considering that I know little about many of the things you write about. This album is nice even though I've always listened to it with little attention. Good rhythms, but it has never fully captivated me, to be honest.

I read it about four or five years ago for my thesis on Hendrix; in the end, it's not much more than a little manual that shares a few anecdotes. It's interesting for those who are approaching the subject for the first time.

thank you so much from the bottom of my heart because after centuries you made me remember to look for the man with the postmodern which at the time, when I had much more time, I had found among the albums to listen to from the 80s. ok there are a few repetitions but it’s been understood. great christmas gift. best wishes to todos!
PS you write much better when you don’t use capital letters in the reviews. ;)

In my opinion, to start off, Different Trains is also good. The others you mentioned, especially Piano Phase and Clapping Music, are overwhelming brick walls, especially for those who have never heard anything by him.

What a beautiful cover! It really has that '30s vibe. I wonder if I'll come across this record sooner or later, anyway for now I'll make a note of it. Great review!

Years ago, I developed a strong obsession for them, and I still consider the first two albums to be (almost) completely unrelated to folk, prog, or any other style of the time. This, if I remember correctly, is a collection of b-sides and live performances, which I have never listened to even though I know the tracks. The fact remains, much to my disappointment, that aside from Fearless, Family has not produced any more great albums like the first two.
