I liked the review, but here you wrote a bit less well than other times. I agree with the average rating of the album; it seems to me that after a beautiful album (amplified heart) and a fantastic one (Walking wounded) they lost a bit of direction about what they wanted to do. There are still nice songs (five fathoms, for example), but the overall trend is a bit repetitive, and in the long run, it does the one thing a pop album shouldn't do: it bores you.
As for the rest, I see a lot of carelessness in the comments, the usual "oh but Eden was good, the rest is crap," worse than bar conversations. Have you listened to all the EBTG albums to make such confident judgments? I'm just asking. I simply say that Eden is a nice album, and that as the duo goes through different phases, it’s pointless to compare them, especially with the arrogance of know-it-alls. For me, the best album is Walking Wounded, but I understand that some might prefer the earlier acoustic music. There’s a big jump from that to saying that everything else besides Eden is rubbish.

Very good, great review. It's difficult to talk about this kind of music, but you did it with a lot of expertise. One note, the big block as it is really weighs down the reading, even though it’s not very long. Maybe dividing the review into a few paragraphs would have benefited the reading...

Hi everyone, and thanks for stopping by. So, a couple of notes on the side... first, the album is from 2017 but it could have been recorded in 1981 or tomorrow. Second, for those who might want to buy it (few, judging by the comments), you won't find it in CD format: the Pharaohs have decided to print it only on vinyl, which also makes it hard to find the mp3 files to download. However, you can easily listen to it all in one go on Deezer and (I believe) on the much more popular Spotify. I’ve seen some videos on YouTube, but I’m not sure if all 7 tracks are there.
