The Rolling Stones Some Girls

currahee (what the heck does it mean?), you’re probably right in saying that black and blue is a kind of drop in style, but I still think it deserves 3 stars. But isn’t emotional rescue the worst album made by the stones? How can it be "bestselling"? The cover is stunning, congratulations because it was the last one missing.

I fully agree.

I don't give many 1s (except to newbies), but you totally earned it. Just for the blunder with "led zeppeling," and then for the entire content of the review; this is written in such a childish way, come on! Anyway, I didn't mind Sum 41, actually, and at least the video on MTV was semi-funny. Cheers.

I see you here again, neu!. I consider Revolver one of the most beautiful albums by the Beatles, and I say this as a fan. I believe that both you and Sausalito reacted in a completely opposite way to the mass beatification of the Beatles phenomenon, and thus you tear them apart without exceptions. The advice I can give you is to try listening to these albums (this one, but also Sgt. Pepper or the White Album) without the "superstructures" typical of the period. Just listen to the music.

I was surprised when I read today's comments on a review from a year ago. Good sign. As for neu!'s comment, I don't agree at all. I only consider the significant albums I own: 1. Rubber Soul – in one listen I pretty much absorbed it all, although "In My Life" is a gem that just begs to be heard. 2. Revolver is, in my opinion, the most challenging; it took me several listens to fully understand it; it's a masterpiece of studio technique, far more than 3. Sgt. Pepper. Regarding this one, 2 or 3 listens are enough, although it should be appreciated more for its spirit than for its technique. 4. The White Album – partly because it's long, partly because it has a bit of everything, and partly because you find a new favorite each time you listen, it's perhaps the most "difficult." I close by remembering that these are all personal opinions, and music is the most subjective thing in the world.

I ask for semi-humbly forgiveness.

Beautiful, but I think there's a blunder: Luisa Vittoria (Luvi) wasn't she Faber's daughter? Regards.

Were there no more Aerosmith albums left to review on hardrock?

Well, I don't think they were already dead in the 80s, Tatto Tou is still listenable anyway, just like Steel Wheels.
