WHEREAS when Rai tries to talk about music, it usually does it poorly (I’m reminded of Battisti a few months ago) for the reasons you explained...
whereas what Lector writes above is somewhat the summary of what I think as well...
whereas when I went to see it in the cinema, I had low expectations, similar to those of the person writing above without having seen it yet...
whereas of course De André, but why even mention that...
I didn't dislike it. Maybe 3 stars is the fairest rating for the reasons you mentioned, because the first part indeed flows perfectly while the second is much heavier. However, let's say calmly that it could have been much worse, and that at certain moments it genuinely moves you (at least, that’s what happened to me. Don’t ask me about the scene though because too many years have passed).
You, as always, are masterful.
