Beautiful and very young, the new goddesses of Asian pop, they dance and sing well, and they flirt even better.

New Jeans, the name of the group, chosen by some marketing genius, should, in an acrobatic play on words, also remind of "New Gens", new generation.

These five rambunctious girls, but not too much, almost all born in South Korea (one of them is half Australian), have long hair (and definitely fragrant), and are just the right amount of made-up. Fashion icons? Probably. Feminine and delicate, capable of moving, with soft voices within a driving rhythm that urges dancing, but with class.

Thanks to the single "Ditto" one can sense the great work of the authors and, upstream, of the record company. Dance? Pop? Crossover? Vintage references, well-chosen keyboards and clap clap.

No, this is not a mock review. My kids like them a lot too. The song is catchy, one might say, to sound modern in the expression.
