Sorry thetrooper, let me understand: you, whose primary activity is to qualify the genre of bands, often using little objective, irritating, and rather questionable parameters (there's no point in going into detail: we both know what I'm talking about), I wanted to know: do you consider Korn metal?
Aerosmith Get a Grip

You’re mistaken, piccolafloyd. What Woodstock said is absolutely true. As for Get a Grip, for me it's their best.
Metallica St. Anger

Alright. So after your clarification, I’ll rephrase FedeHetfield’s question (since the substance doesn’t change): do you give the same rating to St. Anger (the unbearable album with disgusting, simple, repetitive, monotonous, stupid songs that have nothing to do with metal) and the black album (the album featuring Enter Sandman and Nothing Else Matters, just this would be enough, considering they are more famous than any song by Iron Maiden...)?
Iron Maiden The Number Of The Beast

!!!ATTENTION!!! BECCHINO IS ACTUALLY THETROOPER WITH A NEW NICKNAME
Metallica Master Of Puppets

Great album. Even though Metallica have done better. The title track is the common denominator of heavy metal. Orion is the most beautiful instrumental ever. Too bad about the ugly tracks like The Thing, Disposable Heroes, and Damage that significantly lower the average of the album, which is still, I repeat, excellent, even though a bit overrated in my opinion.

blackdog,
your statement about Dickinson confirms (as if it were necessary, given your nickname) that you don't have an objective view. Never mind, I guess I'll end my contributions here on this page. Because as long as we are discussing and debating, that's fine, but when we come across characters like thetrooper, for whom metal = only Iron Maiden and everyone else is just a derivative, or like you, who calls Dickinson a roaring rooster... well, debating is just a waste of time.

Come on Rorix, how can you say that Bonham was the archetype of the metal drummer!? I mean, I don't want to say, but have you listened to Paice in Child In Time, Fireball, Highway Star? Have you listened to Ward in Iron Man and N.I.B.? Have you listened to Powell in A Light In The Black, Kill The King, Stargazer? In my opinion, they have a totally different style from Bonham. They are the ones who inspired McBrain, Lombardo, Ulrich, etc. For me, Bonham has absolutely nothing to do with them in this sense.
And come on Plant... I mean, do you know Dickinson, Adams, and Kiske? Do you think they are inspired by Plant and not by Gillan for example? Well...
