a POLETTI: it's possible that you are right on more than one point. I didn't even notice the mistake with Bogart's name. As you know, the news about the raincoat? Where did you read that? I would also like the source of the tribute to Hollywood (for me, your interpretation is one way, but who knows). I admit I might have exaggerated, probably because it's you. You know how it is, right?
A DANTE CRUCIANI: exactly, he said it perfectly, occult supersovereign! Well done, damn!

You're really an IDIOT, Poletti. 1) First of all, it's clear you haven't read my review otherwise you would understand the reference to Tracy (which the same Allen interviewed admitted). 2) This is certainly not the film where Bogarde is dug up (that's Play It Again, Sam). YOU DON'T KNOW A DAMN THING ABOUT ALLEN AND YOU'VE NEVER SEEN A DAMN THING. THAT'S FOR SURE. 3) The TRIBUTE to Hollywood isn't there. Allen is light years away from that system, he self-produces his films and DreamWorks is only for distribution. 4) You've really pissed me off, I can't stand you, damn you're too arrogant.

In the meantime, thank you Poletti. No, I think you're a bit off track.

In fact, it's also an action movie. Some fight/guerrilla scenes are too long. Keanu is NOT an actor of great expressiveness, and neither does the female lead blend well with her role. It's a dark film and at times incomprehensible. The brilliance of the first episode is completely shattered by the two low and pretentious sequels that effectively ruin this first episode. The review could allow for more space for a little reflection on the human condition. Ratings:

I remember watching it in the cinema with my girlfriend. We were both shaken by the intangible buildup of tension created by the unfolding plot. It wasn't a crescendo of pace but a cascade of situations that were about to reach a breaking point. I find that there are very effective mechanisms and some truly cheesy moments, but the film is genuinely a vehicle for something good. Memorable is Spacey’s line, "I wouldn't even remember myself."
