It's no coincidence that you yourself mention Caribbean elements, flamenco, digressions on jazz themes, the possibility of singing, and the electronic component. The 80s/90s period saw dozens of similar expressions. This one has a result, and I agree with you, doctor, that is typically '80s, fresh and enjoyable.
