Jazz is (often) structured around patterns, scales hidden by "melodic dissonances," if I may use the oxymoron, and Pat has created several personal ones... what can I say, listen to believe....

distant like "distant notes," deep acoustic perceptions, amplify! think of the scale pattern of "renato's theme," think of jazz scales and their "crescendo." distant on the neck, concluding parts of sonic climbs, chromatic scales towards thin, high, and acoustic sounds...but damn, a bit of feelings conveyed in words!!! a bit of abstraction. a translation of a perception! what more! is the lexicon really that limiting???

Interpret it as you wish. Ciccio to whom? Far away see it as "sounds with a lot of depth" but also, in the chromatic path of a scale, high notes (so the keyboard, or better, the high frets). In any case, there are patterns and patterns. Do we understand each other?
