No fake, I find myself (paradoxically) in line with you. Here in Austria they translate everything, and it’s a bit sad. Allen's films in German compared to the Italian translation: TOTALLY a different thing, completely different jokes!!! Is it possible? I know a few Serbs and Croats, but they really don’t know English and their German is so-so... experiences. However, I really enjoy being in touch with people living in Russia, England, Venice... long live debaser!

THE CORRECT TRANSLATION OF THE ENGLISH TITLE in question is "AFFECTIONATE EXPRESSION." Indeed, dear Mister Natoli, the original title is better (and much better) as I already pointed out in my post above. But you know, these are opinions or, even better, schools of thought. Just like the artificial bumps that limit speed in urban centers: there are no rules and they are at the mercy of personal interpretations of whoever happens to come by.

Well done, Andrea. Brooks did little, but of excellent quality. Even "qualcosa è cambiato" was lovely and enjoyable, far from superficial. The translation as "voglia di tenerezza" (and it's not the first case) doesn't do justice and distorts the value of the film (or at least what the Italian viewer perceives), because the movie is far from being sentimental goo. Well done again.

the style of the review is not one of my favorites. I enjoyed the movie a lot. But is there anyone who can tell me the name of the mom (therefore of the empress?) I understood that the kid was shouting "my mom's name is GHAAAAAAAAILAAAAAAAASAJHCEEEE" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT because it was windy...
