Roman Polański Cul de sac
Voto:
I would like to be a director to make a porn-erotic-blasphemous remake of the aforementioned film. The script is already ready; if anyone is interested, I am an author (amateur).

@[CosmicJocker] nothing to object, nothing to add to your reflections.
Paolo Cognetti Some Question To
Voto:
The character Cognetti unsettles me a lot. However, I read "Le otto montagne" with pleasure. I was biased at first, but in the end, it captivated me immensely, and I enjoyed the story.
Paolo Sorrentino La Grande Bellezza

I like how you wrapped up the review, I agree with the questions that the viewer should ask themselves.

Sometimes we mistake weaknesses for strengths. When something is left unsaid, there is silence, and silence leads to contemplation. Are dialogues just monologues? Perhaps because it is not an obligation to reply. If you see the extravagant, then you do not also glimpse the misery. To understand the film, one must read its extremes. From worldly chaos to the cloisters where the fountain's trickle can be heard. If you've read the film, perhaps you've noticed how this great beauty is both everywhere and nowhere.
Roberto Benigni Il Piccolo Diavolo

I agree with much of what you wrote, you've also given me new insights. However, 1 star is too harsh.
Sylvain Chomet L'illusioniste

I cried like a fountain the first time I saw him.

I was expecting the emotional side, but it didn’t come!
Don DeLillo Underworld
Voto:
I'm a bit angry with American authors (Fitzgerald, Ford, Kerouac, and the like). Without an imposing background of their subculture, as a European, you end up having to endure rivers of useless talk in terribly boring contexts. There’s always the distinct feeling of reading about heroic deeds, about supermen, when instead they are shockingly banal. Take Underworld, for example; you have to sit through 60 pages of a baseball game, with names, terms, actions. What a drag!
