But yes, it’s a nice little movie to watch in the evening. 3 stars seem a bit too much to me.

Everyone is dead except for the deceased. MASTERPIECE. There's also Michele Mirabella, great film, someone should review it.

"But with the camera, it really creates a level" I meant to say, 'it's really disgusting'

The film Shining by Stephen King, I recommend only to the constipated. It’s genius with pen and paper, but with the camera, it’s just on a whole other level. The end of the film, then, is pure delirium: those who get there are good.

Great review. The fact is that you can't live on just that dozen of Western masterpieces; I, who drooled over the genre a few years ago, had to settle for all these 'subproducts,' and I even found some good in them. The film is sometimes disarmingly naïve, and it's also implausible, but let's say that unlike what is done now in Italy, the film isn't shot carelessly. It's a heartfelt piece, technically well done (well, okay, a few borrowed shots here and there...), and it has a good rhythm that sometimes even leads to moments of genuine tension. Tarantino has little to do with it: he saw that there is a living to be made with revisionism, so he re-evaluates all the Italian B-movies (pure crap but also some hidden gems). I've never cared about Tarantino, yet I still saw Django, so it doesn't seem fair to blame him for this entire "let's bring vintage back to life" movement. That said, my rating for the film is a 3, a solid 3, a 3 that speaks of Italian cinema now dead and buried, a testament to how bold we Italians once were.

And "La Casa 7" by James Isaac?

"The best horror of all time"? But it's practically a rip-off of a film from 10 years earlier by the great Mario Bava: repeated deaths, blood, darkness, etc. It's only the cause of the crimes that differentiates the two films.

And there are also those who say they are the heirs of Creedence. Along with the ones who say that Mika has a voice like Freddie Mercury, that's two gigantic bullshit that one could live off for years and years.
