ajejebrazorf, you can't hold it against Genesis: they invented a way of playing, and then everyone followed behind like goats, masturbating the mellotrons, various tappings, choked imitations of Gabriel, spastic, in the manner of Collins,... Genesis still remain the best in the progressive field (it must be acknowledged): they boasted a very demanding music while equally being melodic and catchy, which is extremely difficult for a progressive band (I'm not saying Genesis were commercial, quite the opposite, they struggled until '73); that's why they are the best.

Holy cow, what an album: Bruford is the greatest drummer of all time (I acknowledge this even while greatly admiring Barriemore Barlow of Tull), "Red" is a powerhouse, "One More Nightmare" a musical lesson from exceptional professors, "Starless" one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful song of King Crimson. It's worth mentioning that Wetton at that time didn't take any breaks (King Crimson, Uriah Heep, UK,...).

Touch my Island, touch me the island...(Nothing but "the cobra is not a snake")

Beautiful. Haskell can't match Lake, but the music makes us forget. The final suite, a composition of a certain refinement, is the backbone of the album.
Iron Maiden Iron Maiden

Exhaustive, from exhaustion: what an offense.

The lead singer of Rush has a voice that’s really captivating, then you see him and he looks like an elf. They’re a great band, with an absolutely amazing drummer (and what a drum kit he had); I wouldn’t know which is their best album (Caress of Steel, 2112, A Farewell to Kings: for me it’s one of those three, it’s all a matter of taste...), but up until Moving Pictures, they had no dips in creativity. Kansas were more pompous (not a flaw), and their music was more “embroidered” (they were six, Rush were three).
I downloaded "Abbiamo Tutti Un Blues Da Piangere" by Perigeo: I read on a website that they had nothing to do with progressive, but for me they fit into that category, the compositions on this album are still very structured, a typical characteristic of prog; I wouldn’t want to say something heretical by claiming they still fall into the progressive pot...

But how much do you pay for Italian prog records? The most I've spent is 8.50 Danari for "Darwin!" by Banco. For the Italian music market, they're just leftovers; "they practically give them to you."

At the supermarket, the tacky editions, those not remastered without all those myriad of bonus tracks that follow.

But do you download them all or do you also buy them? Those I've downloaded, if I find them, I buy them, since usually the price is always under 5 euros.
