Circus 2000 An Escape From A Box

It seems to me that the sound is good, but surely Collins or Bruford would have something to say. I still need to learn how to make them work, and then the smallest one, which is up in the top left, is hard to hit. The drum kit, from certain perspectives, is quite mastodontic.

They sound like toms, small and with a less deep sound. Listen to the beginning of Down and Out by Genesis on And then there were three, to get an idea of the sound they have. If you rotate them on the pivot they are placed on, they change the tuning. Anyway, they seem to be third-hand. They make a hell of a show, as Liga would say.

Hey, look, I’m not joking: the package was all worn out, like it had been chewed up by a camel and then dried in the sun. The Roto-toms are a bit dented, but as I said before, I'm fine with them just like that.

First. Oh my God, what crap these groups are.

Ah, the Roto-toms have arrived, a bit battered; they're quite shabby but they work for me. You should see the scene they create on the drum set: not even Di Cioccio.

Well, it's clear that the Floyd and the Soft are your favorites; you put more passion into reviewing them. But then again, if they influence you the most... The album is an impressive piece—Rejoice, Two Heads, the long Spare Chaynge, The Ballad of You and Me and Pooneil, and many others. In short, stuff that has made history.

Okay, I confess too, I listened to the Clash and felt positive emotions. And what a drummer!
Cocteau Twins Treasure

I downloaded the album motivated by another review of the Cocteau Twins from a few days ago. I don't feel like giving it a rating: some tracks are truly enjoyable and relaxing (like the portrait on the cover), while others, in my opinion, lose a bit due to the rhythmic base, which is intrusive and trendy. In short, for me, they should have left out the drums and drum machine that overly standardize the sound. The review is very heartfelt.
