Great review. I know them, but I'm not familiar with this album. From the samples, they seem very carefree and serene.

My favorite by the Floyd is Ummagumma, but this one, like many others, deserves the 5. "Us us us us... and Them them them them..."

No, it's not me, I've seen them too. It's just that this weekend I didn't use the computer much. The album is 'bbello. The battery is freely inspired by the style of Phil Collins.

I still like this one and Duke. 4 for both. The Genesis with Peter Gabriel were something else; they were simply younger and fresher, more inspired. Anyway, this album has that dreamy atmosphere that can still be found up until Duke. Abacab is a big drop, and we won’t even talk about Genesis; Invisible Touch is probably the worst album in rock history, especially since you can't really talk about rock anymore. All that aside, I think this album still holds up well.

The Clash Sandinista!

The review is really beautiful, perhaps the best you've ever written so far. I listened to the album, Cristo ce lo ha originale, I don't, and I must say that here the Clash didn't impress me; I don't know, maybe it's the idea that if you sit down to listen to it, night falls, perhaps because with 30 plus songs, some are just filler, who knows. Anyway, there's no doubt that the Clash were not at all a punk band, what did they do that was punk? The first two albums (very rock 'n roll anyway), then everything else up to Combat Rock (included) took a very experimental path that makes me say they were not a punk band. A punk band that survives until '82 and beyond? No, it can't be punk.
